Real Time Analyst
Overview

The Real Time Analyst manages and/or balances service levels for the call center across programs, internal locations, lines of business and products. The analyst manages the performance of the call center according to any contractual agreements and internal goals; the focus is to create positive experiences for customers while maintaining an efficient call center enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors real-time call volume and schedule conformance to efficiently utilize staffing resources and to meet any necessary contractual obligations
  • Coordinates and manages same day and/or short term off-line event scheduling for call center agents while maintaining acceptable performance of the call center
  • Provides the WFM Scheduling team future exceptions for scheduling in IEX in order to consistently maintain appropriate staffing levels
  • Monitors CMS and RTA to assist the management teams with acceptable agent adherence to schedules
  • Analyzes trends such as call volume, AHT, and attendance to understand and plan for potential over staffing/under staffing conditions; adjust plans prior to and/or same day based on the ability of the call center to attain appropriate performance results
  • Manages agent profiles within CMS to best utilize all staffing resources
  • Monitors available reports to effectively manage the performance each call center business and/or product to acceptable results
  • Participates in Help Desk calls to relay how issues are impacting the call center
  • Assists in the development of all reports and/or processes that increase the ability of the call center to effectively and accurately plan acceptable performance results
  • Effectively communicates call center performance and information by providing the business informational updates regarding the recent, current, and future state of the business.

National Specialist on Monitoring and Evaluation

Organizational Setting:

For more than four decades, FAO has been working with the Government of the Philippines, civil society, community-based organizations and the private sector to address challenges in the agriculture, fisheries and forestry sector. Joint efforts have included increasing sustainability in agricultural production, promoting value-adding practices, improving post-harvest management, enhancing productivity and increasing the resilience of agriculture-based livelihoods to natural disasters, climatic hazards and armed conflict.

Reporting Lines:

The National Specialist on Monitoring and Evaluation reports to the National Food Security and Nutrition Specialist.

Technical Focus:

In December 2019, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the implementation of the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) was formally signed by eleven (11) government agencies working together towards attaining the Sustainable Development Goal 2 on Zero Hunger. The EPAHP aims to increase productivity, ensure food security and nutrition as well as address hunger and poverty especially in the countryside.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is the lead agency in the implementation of the EPAHP. The feeding program of DSWD which caters to poor malnourished school children in the country is one of the banner programs of the government that addresses hunger. Since the creation of the EPAHP, FAO has been supporting the government agencies in the formulation of its Monitoring and Evaluation Framework.

This TCP project on the Development of a Digital Mapping System of Community Based Organizations (CBOs) is essential to monitor and ensure resilient and continuous source of food supply and relevant services to the EPAHP Convergence Program. Likewise, this proposed initiative will also serve as a model to strengthen the capacities of CBOs and become front liners for supply of food in times of crisis such as during disasters as well the current situation of COVID-19 pandemic.

The proposed project will also support in the enhancement of the Monitoring and Evaluation framework of EPAHP which will also capacitate the government agencies in monitoring achievements of their respective expected outputs.

Tasks and responsibilities

The National Specialist on Monitoring and Evaluation will carry out the following tasks:

  • Lead in the review of the existing monitoring and evaluation framework of EPAHP in terms of target impact, outcomes, outputs and indicators and its contribution to government targets on food security;
  • Lead in the design and process of consultation workshops with relevant agencies involved in EPAHP as to the relevance of the current M&E framework;
  • Lead in the enhancement of the M&E framework, as well as in results reporting mechanisms, with consideration on the targets and contributions of each government agency as well as ensure coherence in terms of the objectives and targets of EPAHP;
  • Design a practical M&E system or database that will readily be available to be used for reporting and analysis of the effectiveness of the EPAHP, in close coordination with the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist of FAOPH ;
  • Train the government partners on the use of the M&E system or database;
  • Work closely with MIS Specialist for the Digital Mapping System (DMS) Project on the review and possible convergence of relevant data or information available for both the EPAHP Framework and DMS;
  • Provide technical support in all aspects of EPAHP where M&E may be relevant;
  • Participate in relevant meetings, activities and other events;
  • Carry out any other relevant duties within his/her technical competence as may be requested by FAO

  • Advanced University Degree in any course related to Agriculture, Food Security, Nutrition, Program Management or other related fields.
