Your Role and Responsibilities You will be responsible for the following: review of various policies, corporate documents, contracts, RFP/RFI, financing documents and other documents necessary for the businesses and operation of the Company; provide legal advice and support in addressing queries and/or conflicts involving interpretation of contracts, laws/rulings/regulations applicable to the Company and to the American Multinational Technology and Consulting Corporation businesses in the Philippines; provide legal services and support on matters involving but not limited to compliance (external and internal), regulatory, financing, ethics, discipline, employment-related functions, audit, data privacy, litigation; manage external legal resources. You will ensure documentation is maintained, and that organizational memory is retained, within the corporate business group. You will provide education on contracts and compliance issues (including business integrity, ethics, FCPA, AMLA and PEZA). This role is primarily based in Metro Manila, Philippines. You will perform a vendor and customer facing role. You will perform legal services and support as the General Counsel directs/instructs. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Absolute commitment to business integrity and ethical conduct. A degree in law and license to practice law in the Philippines. Minimum 8 years legal experience in the Philippines, preferably solid in-house counsel experience. Demonstrated ability to influence policy-making and business decision making for the benefit or advantage of American Multinational Technology and Consulting Corporation. Preferably with demonstrated success in negotiating large and complex deals in complex situations. Strong ability to multi-task and perform administrative matters for the Legal Department. Preferably with experience in international contracting matters and financing. Previous exposure in IT-related industry is an advantage. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise Can work in an Agile environment Excellent drafting and negotiations skills. Ability to give advice with an eye as to the commercials of a matter. Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, and to meet critical deadlines. Able to work well both independently and as part of a team. Able to communicate well and work in a cross-functional team to achieve common goals. Able to identify and escalate issues timely and appropriately. Strong analytical and communication skills. Independent and self-motivated. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Extensive Experience in an Agile Environment Strong experience doing in-house legal work.
