Description:

Fast-growing E-Commerce company is looking for a Remote Cost Accountant. Someone who understands how to calculate costs properly and the importance of updating multiple systems.

Job may include:

• Effectively calculate costs in our various systems, using multiple technical tools & reports.
• Keep costs updated in all of our system in order to support accurate business calculations.
• Support multiple countries and marketplaces.
• Support new business initiatives through identification of accounting requirements and ensure implementation of financial controls and process and system solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements; suggest and implement improvements to scale and automate manual procedures
• Work effectively on time with different team members.

Requirements:

Must Requirements:

• 1 year experience working as an accountant for businesses that had physical inventory.
• Understand cost accounting, worked before with companies that held inventory.
• Understand exchange rates, multiple currencies and different cost structures.

Good to have:

• 1 year of experience with QBO and is QBO certified
• Experience with Amazon Reporting
• Excel Mastery – advanced tools and macros.
• Little OCD – very organized, and delivers in a timely manner.
• Has some experience with one of the following: Sales Tax Filing, IRS Tax Filing, VAT Filing.
