Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa DUTIES: Under the direction of the Chef de Partie/Sous Chef, the Commis Chef is responsible for the preparation and storage of menu items, in accordance with established procedures for preparation and quality standards for taste, presentation and hygiene standards of the Resort. REQUIREMENTS: Local package Physically fit, neat and well-groomed Proficient in oral and written English Preferably college graduate Hast at least 1 year experience as Commis Chef and 6 months experience in an international class hotel/resort Team player, and open minded Creative, has an eye for detail, resourceful, willing to learn and willing to work on different shifts Preferably has knowledge of Integrated Management System (ISO 14001:2004-Environmental Management System, OHSAS 18001:2007 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 22000:2005 – Food Safety Management System)
