Finance Officer Global Fund The Role A member of the Global Fund Finance Team responsible for ensuring compliance to Global Fund and SCI finance policies and procedure, standards and local laws and regulations. The FO enforces internal control through review and monitoring of financial transactions and documents to safeguard Global Fund and SCI resources and reporting the status of the GF budget. QUALIFICATIONS Essential · Bachelor degree in accounting · At least 3 years work experience in finance with at least 1 year NGO experience · Knowledge of grant financial management · Supervisory experience · Experience in the use of accounting packages · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to multi-task and work on tight deadlines · High sense of urgency and well-developed work ethic · Understanding of Save the Children vision and mission and commitment to its objecives · Willing to adopt Save the Children methodology and framework in program implementation · Abide by and implement Save the Children Eight Agency Policies including Child Safety Desirable · CPA · Agresso systems experience · International NGO experience · International non-profit work experience · Multi-cultural work experience Contract length: Fixed Term position until December 31, 2020 based in National Capital Region The Organisation We employ approximately 25,000 people across the globe and work on the ground in over 100 countries to help children affected by crises, or those that need better healthcare, education and child protection.
