Description:

  • Accomplish government required reports related to manpower;
  • Design, develop, review, and implement the company code of conduct and ensure its compliance with Philippine labor laws. Provide counseling on policies and procedures.
  • Conduct company orientation, refresher courses, and updates to ensure that all employees are informed and are compliant to company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor Philippine employment regulations, research and assess the effects of new laws, changes and updates to existing laws on existing policies and recommend applicable changes in existing policies/procedures or new policies to the Site Administrative & HR Operations Manager
  • Coordinate, update, and instruct HR teams in the group regarding policy updates, policy implementation.
  • Offering counseling services to employees.
  • Support and maintain the employee engagement programs and initiatives that support WebBeds organizational goals and culture
  • Develop and communicate positive employee relations strategies and retention initiatives that foster and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Establish and maintain measurement standards to provide meaningful information that will guide continual improvement and further increase employee engagement, satisfaction and retention.
  • Responsible for ensuring content consistency of messages and alignment to overall company and HR strategy.
  • Encourage the adoption of relevant social media best practices into the corporate culture and support the company’s internal social media related engagement projects, as well as recommending new systems and vehicles to improve the quality, consistency and timeliness of information.
  • Research and work with vendors and other departments to build employee engagement initiatives.
  • Serve as project point person on specific segments of employee engagement and communications programs, including contests, meeting logistics, meeting recaps, budget summaries, etc., to ensure all engagement programs are successfully implemented.
  • Supports design and administration components for employee engagement surveys.
  • Act as the Human Resources communications coordinator for the launch of special programs and events.
  • Stay informed and aware of organizational operations and initiatives and identify areas where additional internal associate engagement communication is needed and develop a plan to meet those needs;
  • Handles routine labor relations and human resource inquiries related to policies, procedures, and bargaining agreements; refers complex matters to appropriate management staff.
  • Serves as the initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of employee complaints.
  • Conducts initial interviews and gathers information for employee relations matters such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other concerns; informs appropriate HR staff when additional investigation is required.
  • Conducts surveys, interviews, and other research related to human resource policies, compensation, and other labor negotiations; collects information and reports results to Site Administrative & HR Operations Manager or Human Resources Director.
  • Assists with preparation of plans, policies, documents, and reports including organizational charts, labor agreements, and employee handbooks.
  • Assists with preparation of documents and records required for contract negotiations, meetings, and negotiations with employee and labor organizations.
  • Active participation in office management, including handling general clerical tasks
  • Organize and prepare meeting schedules for various departments
  • Ensure meeting spaces are properly requisitioned ahead of schedule
  • Manage office equipment and supplies, and ordering new equipment and supplies as needed
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to help solve clerical issues
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in psychology, human resources management, business management or any equivalent courses.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent in written and verbal communication skills and understanding of confidentiality and protocol is essential.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Meticulous attention in details and instructions.
