Anne is Hiring (Anywhere) Infrastructure Engineer Linux – Taguig, 40k-60k Qualifications Candidates must be willing work on SHIFTING SCHEDULE and in McKinley Hill, Taguig Minimum 2-3 years of continuous experience in the following; – Supporting Linux systems in a global company (Red Hat and/or SuSE) – Linux system administration; users account creation, permission setting, creating file system, installing rpm’s – Linux system troubleshooting; analyzing CPU & memory performance issues, log files reviews – Experience working with a ticketing system for incoming incidents and request – 1 year experience with ITIL processes such as Change and Incident management to provide support for global Linux systems. Understanding of servers, virtualization, networking, storage, security and backups to provide support of global Linux systems. Understanding of high availability concepts such as clustering software as it relates to Linux systems. Experience with VERITAS Cluster Services is a plus. Good written and verbal communication skills to provide premium support to internal customers such as developers and application teams. Responsibilities: The Associate Linux Engineer is responsible for maintaining the health, integrity, availability, and security of all the Linux systems globally. He/she needs to apply appropriate problem solving techniques to solve complex production problems and assist with the root cause analysis. He/she will work in a team environment to deploy infrastructure solutions which includes; server setup, Linux operating system installation & tuning, system software installation, patching and configuration. Level 1 Linux systems administration and troubleshooting for a global environment. Monitor Linux team ticket queues and resolve incidents and complete tasks/requests in a timely manner. Perform ongoing Linux operations work such as applying operating system patches as directed the team leader. Proactively perform regular healthchecks of critical Linux systems to prevent unplanned downtime. Create documentation related to the Linux environment as directed by the team leader. How to apply?
