Inc. is looking for an Investment Training Manager to be part of the Distribution Training team. This position will drive the implementation of tactical and operational plans to ensure that FWD’s distributors have the competitive edge in the market of investment products and services. This position will also entails development and roll-out of investment programs and activities in partnership with relevant units and/or third-party providers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: A. Program Management: Design, roll-out, and manage investment and allied training programs Create content when necessary, to reinforce investment knowledge or strengthen skills of FWD distributors Deliver programs in multiple platforms to reach more distributors Create an efficient feedback system on process, programs, and program management. Build a collection of best training practices from the industry on similar program/s in collaboration with other business units B. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with Agency leaders and the Sales Management team to drive attendance to training programs Build partnership with distributors in creating customer events and activities Create a pool of High Net Worth (HNW) sellers with corresponding support system Simplify distributors’ tools REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Graduate of Business/Financial Management, Economics, or any related course With at least 5 years’ experience in the financial services industry; preferably in the areas of investment banking, mutual funds, or trading Advanced knowledge in investment concepts Proficient in the following: (1) Estate Planning, (2) Wealth Planning or Portfolio Management, (3)Taxation, (4)Trust Able to read and analyze investment briefs Can understand financial models With above average communication skills With problem solving and decision making skills Preferably has industry certifications in investment Self-starter/Initiative to complete required tasks and make decisions within level of authority Team player/High interpersonal skills
