JOB OVERVIEW Position & Role: Logistics & Operations Coordinator – Finance & Operations Team Reason for role: We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage all aspects of logistics throughout our supply chain. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and providing efficient transportation and storage solutions for the entire lifecycle of our products, from the acquisition of raw materials to final product distribution. A successful Logistics Coordinator should be able to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations. You should also be able to promptly resolve distribution issues and have strong negotiation skills. Reports to: Functional line: Head & team leader HR line: Head Responsibilities – Project management & ownership of: Logistics & warehouse – Operations, management & coordination Select carriers and negotiate contracts and rates. Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries. Supervise logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services. Organize warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments. Respond to any issues or complaints. Research ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers. Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations. Evaluate budgets and expenditures. Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements. Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry. Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software. Outstanding analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Develop and document comprehensive procedures Create and manage spreadsheets Do thorough data analysis on existing clients Craft detailed emails responses to our customers Take global facetime calls and interact with customers in Australia (and beyond)!
