Logistics Specialist Job Functions/Description: Reviewing/Ordering Daily shipment requests from the CRM Queue Recording Daily shipments Generating key activation codes for all customer software purchases Preparing and sending Shipment Confirmations to customers, et al, when a unit ships Updating recording shipment information in CRM, closing Work Orders in CRM for ultimate transfer to Netsuite for billing customers. Reviewing/processing/ordering RMA replacement units or component parts for customers. Coordinating return of faulty units or components with customers. Coordinating return of unsold evaluation units with prospective customers. Reviewing/researching/updating Work Orders in CRM for orders of extended warranty in CRM for ultimate transfer to Netsuite for billing customers Preparing international shipping documents for remote shipping from other facilities and countries to customers. Systems utilized: Oracle based CRM, MS Dynamics AX, Accpac, Excel, Word, Outlook , web-based systems (FEDEX.com, UPS.com) Must be proficient in MS Office Suite; Excel spreadsheets, Word, Outlook Skills required: Must be detail-oriented and accurate, self-supervising, reliable and display a customer service first attitude. Ability to research, follow-up and follow through until fruition and communicate well with all affected parties. Must be able to reliably follow instructions and have the ability to train and be trained; to take instruction and give instruction when needed. Skills preferred: Some experience with logistics (Shipping document preparation, shipping coordination, shipping domestic and internationally) Inventory control/RMA* coordination. Customer service experience with an emphasis on professionalism when dealing directly with customers. RMA (Return Material Authorization): Equipment replacement to customers; tracking warranty, contacting customers and coordination of replacement of equipment including; shipment and tracking returns. Education: We prefer college-educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
