Expert knowledge in a specific area of Delivery work: Project & Release Management. ·Delivery management for Hotel Hub Next Gen Platform. ·Delivery management for Hotel Intel Sharepoint deliverables. ·Recommends & documents strategy & approach for Release Management. ·Responsible for ensuring the work completed in these areas meets agreed standards, even when completed by others in the team. ·Responsible for defining & upholding standards across the group for Release Management. ·Seeks out and is aware of industry best practice and innovative ways of working. Shares these with wider team. ·Communicates plans and timelines clearly throughout team and organization across all levels. ·Has excellent working relationships with the teams outside of Delivery needed to complete their tasks – Global Design & Development, Traveler Services, Product Management, Engineering, UX, etc. ·Mitigates risks and issues preventing strategy in the specialized area from being fulfilled. ·Provides regular updates on progress to senior stakeholders. ·Defines resource needs for your area. ·Is ready to get involved in any area at short notice – flexible to respond to the teams and businesss needs. ·Ensuring deployment of Core and OBT releases on time · Planning and implementation of timelines – scheduled and/or interims · Address ‘blockers’ that hinder teams to work effectively, and hinder productivity. ·Guarantee compliance to Information Security & PCI standards. ·Use of Project Management tools such as JIRA, and Comindwork. ·Understands the IT Software Development Life Cycle, and Agile. ·Schedule and host regular team catch-ups · Document MOM’s, PCI Playbooks, and Deployment Readiness Documents Qualifications Experience & education: ·Successful completion of a Business or technical degree or equivalent industry experience. ·7+ years relevant established experience with expert depth of knowledge ·Experience in travel industry booking roles. ·Experience with communicating information concisely and clearly across geographies and teams. ·Experience answering insightful questions from stakeholders. ·Experience in supporting or deploying software products. ·Experience with project management and organizational skills. ·Experience communicating at Senior Management level Languages ·Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal ·Knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) o Acknowledged expert both within the organization as well as within other organizations o Proficient in use of Microsoft Office. o Knowledge of one or more GDSs. o Effective communication skills. o Influence skills o Ability to champion change. o Ability to handle multiple projects.
