Job Description
We are in need of a Production Administration Assistant to support one of the leading providers of Indoor/Outdoor Blinds, Curtains and Drapes in Australia.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to company Mission and Values
Digitise information from handwritten job notes into various systems/programs
Identify missing information and possible hold up to production and notify the relevant sales representatives
Follow up on Sales rep enquiries
Stock check notes
Order goods from a wide and varied supplier base
Track goods to ensure they reach Country Blinds in a timely manner as to not hold up production
Process orders into computer and other visual tracking aids, I.E. Powder coating run sheet
Fill out cut sheet/build lists/parts lists
Consistently, positively communicate with Production Manager
Positively chase products and materials at Production Managers request
Must work flexible hours, incl. some Saturdays during busy periods (typically leading up to Christmas)
Must work reasonable overtime to reach deadlines
Work efficiently and use initiative individually or as part of a team
Willingness to change task with minimal notice
Must maintain a neat and respectable appearance
Display a solid understanding of all products and reading notes
Understanding mathematical calculations and other numerical data
Positively deal with problems, regardless of the cause
Participates in training (whether on the job or external)
Treat our customers, suppliers and other business contacts with respect and tact
Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and good communication with all areas (Sales/Office/Management/Production/Installation)
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
Requirements
At least 2 years experience in an Administrative or Data Entry role.
Good communication skills – both written and English.
Experience using google/excel sheets and understands simple mathematics.
Ability to multi-task Ability to change tasks without notice and fuss Detail orientated Ability to check own work Follows process, without skipping steps
