Job Description Night shift is required due to system availability Key Accountabilities Individual Accountabilities: Calculate the rates and underwriting factors to be entered on Renewal Database. Able to understand the calculation of underwriting factors, expenses, premium, and claims. Validate the rates and underwriting factors before accurately coding it on Renewal Database. Determining the complex amendment type applicable then update the Renewal Database with rates, volumes, and expenses based on the amendment. Working with Underwriters to ensure that rates and structures are accurately reflected in Renewal Database. Provide support and assistance to Underwriters in completing adhoc task. Validate new issue rates of Self-Admin groups before accurately coding it on Renewal Database. Interact with other Small Business areas (eg. RGO, PDS) to resolve issues and/or gather information. Key Shared Accountabilities: Help maintain system integrity between Renewal Workbook, Renewal database and our billing systems (Manuconnect & Gispy) Job Requirement: Strong Mathematical Aptitude; Intermediate Excel knowledge and proficient data entry and keyboarding skills Group Benefits Knowledge High level of accuracy and attention to detail Financial Underwriting experience is an advantage Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; Produce high quality work that requires great attention to detail.
