To support the Sr. Sales Manager and VP of Sales in the provision of analytical sales insight, forecasting and reporting of sales metrics. To liaise with Finance, Management Accounts, Fulfilment & Sales in terms of the administration of sales targets and commission schemes. To deliver on a range of financial and commercial projects as defined by the VP of Sales and Sr. Sales Manager, particularly focused on maximizing overall sales and improving the efficiency and transparency of all Nexis-related processes. During periods when there is minimal planned activity the Sales Analyst will provide assistance to the Specialized Law team as directed by the Sr. Sales Manager. Assistance with the preparation of billings/revenue metrics that provide real insight and analysis into all elements of NARSL and recognised revenue in Specialized Law (NARSL). Provision of key reports to Sales in terms of renewals and sales pipeline with the aim of maximising retention, growth and new business opportunities. Provision of ad-hoc support / reporting to Sales including e.g. tactical segmental reviews. Production of analysis which pro-actively identifies potential sales related issues and opportunities. Liaison with Finance to formulate annual sales targets for NARSL, including any mid-year reallocations. Liaison with Finance to prepare the monthly Dayton billings reports which underpin the monthly sales results. Administration of manual sales adjustments in a timely manner. Utilisation of existing knowledge of sales commission schemes to suggest improvements. Liaison with Finance for any sales targeting or sales reporting related issues. Improving the efficiency and transparency of all NARSL-related processes including order to cash and business information/financial reporting. Supporting the reduction of aged debt within the NARSL business including acting as the go-to person for any NARSL operational issues for the Order to Cash Group. Development of a specialism for CRM on demand. Completion of ad hoc financial & commercial projects as they arise to a high standard. Any other duties as required.
