PRIMARY DUTIES: Lead and manage the data standards, policies and guidelines for the assigned sub-domain in order that required Data Quality levels are met and maintained. Manage the definition, maintenance and usage of all data elements within the assigned sub-domain Owns the Data model of the Data systems for the domain assigned Partner with Data Administrators to ensure that the standards, policies and guidelines are understood and well implemented Inform Data operations functions about new standards and policies Own agreed access authorization tasks for relevant Data domains as defined in the Data Responsibility and Accountability matrix Document Data quality measures and reporting for the Data elements within the assigned domain Own issue and resolution tasks for Data issues for the Data elements within the assigned domain Engage with the business users involved in Data processes to ensure Data Quality KPIs are in-line with business objectives and KPIs Partner with the business users to ensure end to end data validation processes Escalate unresolved Data Quality issues and unresolved cross-domain conflicts Develop and implement the data governance certification process for official watermarking Monitor Data Quality trends and take necessary actions to improve Drive the root cause analysis and correction of escalated Data quality issues Ensure up to date documentation on Data (e.g. data dictionary and data diagrams) Act as an SME for the Data sub-domain related improvement CRs or projects Partner with Enterprise Architecture Team to align data standards, policies and guidelines with future logical and physical Data model directions Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors in Information Technology, Process Management or related degree Experience in Reporting, Data management, Process improvement with significant experience working with data mining and reporting Demonstrates strong knowledge of current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology and information related to the business and the organization Demonstrates excellent listening and communication skills (written and verbal) Readily adapts to changes in priority of initiatives and overall strategic direction within a multi-plan, geographically disperse organization
