The Site Nurse promotes employees’ health and welfare by performing their duties in line with the Nursing Code of Ethics. In this role you will:
- Care for and treat patients in the office clinic
- Administer medication, dress wounds, interpret physician’s instructions to patients, assist with emergencies, and perform related tasks as directed
- Maintain records of vital statistics and other pertinent data of patients
- Clean and sterilize medical equipment and maintain medical supplies
- Prepare monthly inventory of medicine/supply usage of the clinic and its expenses
- Treat and educate employees about various medical conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients, regardless of specialty or work setting
- Record patients’ medical history and symptoms, help perform diagnostic tests and analyze results, administer treatment and medications, and help with patient follow-up and rehabilitation
- Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess the patient’s condition
- Identify safety, health, and environmental hazards;
We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in Bachelor of Nursing
- Proven experience/skills- clinical skills, bedside manner, infection control, nursing skills, physiological knowledge, administering medication, medical teamwork, multi-tasking, listening, verbal communication, health promotion and maintenance
- Customer service-oriented
- Good communication skills
- Teamwork-oriented
