DESCRIPTION The Screening Services team is an exciting nexus within Amazon that works across all Amazon business units to deliver screening services that protect Amazon’s customers, employees and assets. Amazon is the fastest growing large employer in the world, and we need to deliver screening services at the fastest rate, with the highest quality, and with the maximum flexibility – a unique business problem that no other company in the world is facing. To help get there, our team is seeking a Sr. HR Services Administrator to assist in the operational execution of the medical checks program for the APAC region. As a member of Amazon’s Screening Services team, the Sr. HR Services Administrator will report directly to the HR Manager Screening Services based in Seattle, and execute the operational delivery of a compliant, accurate, fast, and cost-efficient medical checks program for countries spanning the APAC region. This includes the initiation, adjudication, vendor correspondence, and continuous service improvements to meet constantly changing and increasingly-complex compliance obligations, business expansion, and worker diversity. Specific responsibilities will include: · Provide medical check support including timely adjudication and troubleshooting while adhering to service level agreements · Provide backup support for other specialty screening programs · Provide ongoing support to local HR teams by improving the overall program, self-service training tools, and monitoring necessary policy and process updates as the programs grow · Respond to system access requests, questions, and troubleshoot program issues on behalf of employees, managers and HR · Identify areas for improvement and take ownership of implementing changes · Improve and maintain compliance metrics for human resources, leadership, and business review · Monitor service level agreements and resolve issues with internal and external service providers · Manage escalations and investigate discrepancies · Participate in screening services project related activities, including the analysis or preparation of documentation; communication of processes and best practices BASIC QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience · Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English · High attention to detail · Aptitude for working independently with excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills · Experience prioritizing multiple tasks of competing priority with the ability to meet deadlines · Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication, composure, and professional attitude. · Ability to work in international teams where team members are in different locations and belong to different cultures · Flexibility to work in 24*7 environment · Ability to work overtime as required · MS Office experience required – Proven experience working with Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint · Fluent in English PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · 2+ years of HR, compliance or investigation related experience · Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to clearly articulate business problems · Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
