Are you ready to change the way our world is powered? SUMMARY OF ROLE SunPower is seeking a Systems Operation and Maintenance Engineer for Commercial business unit.

The Systems O&M Engineering reports to the Manager/Lead.

The Systems O&M Engineering supports any O&M related scope assigned by the manager.

It is the responsibility of the O&M Engineer to understand and reviews O&M contract, Support escalation & inquiry and is expected to interact directly and regularly with Energy Assurance / Asset Management as part of daily operations.

The engineer may at times support software developers and database architects on data initiatives and automated tools, must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Performs simple to complex data backfill process with analysis Performs data recovery on all data platforms (CDAS, SMS, UPP) and database.

Performs data correction on all PV Solar System critical metric both Meteorological (Ambient Temperature, Windspeed, Irradiance) and Energy Generation (Inverter and Meter Level) Analyze field data and translate findings into publishable performance models Perform Periodic System Assessments and Generate Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual and Annual Performance Reports Performance validation and analysis Review reports generated for accuracy and data quality, identification and reporting on operational events associated with the system for the year and reporting as required by specific customer contracts.

Responsible for generating performance reports sent to regulatory bodies for rebates and renewable energy certificate contracts. Develop and maintain a system for documenting causes of low performance/availability and plans for improvement.

Maintain Data in Customer Service Databases File System and Documentation, responsible for the creation and maintenance of both physical and electronic files to organize analytical work, both for operational performance and field test data Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements:

automating manual processes, and optimizing ticket management for greater scalability

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Preferred:

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Computer/Telecommunications) At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience Understanding of PV technology, solar power, power generation, data acquisition Excellent data mining and analytical skills Advanced user of Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.

Advanced Microsoft Excel worksheet manipulation and programming Proficiency in MS Office suite Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work night shift, weekends, US/Philippine holidays… – Permanent – Full-time
