Role Overview Has day-to-day management responsibilities for a small financial analysis team or sub team while managing own work load/projects. Conducts performance management and career development processes, and staffing and disciplinary actions. Oversees and participates in the monthly/quarterly reporting and forecast process, annual planning process, and various ad hoc requests. Oversees the annual Planning process coordinating with business units to establish a Plan for the total corporation Oversees and participates in quarterly analysis of assets under management and assets under custody and communication of results with senior management Provides financial/accounting support by monitoring and reporting on the revenue and capital expense budgets Actively participate in special projects and ad hoc requests to support the financial analysis team/function Organizes the work of the team, assigns tasks, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work Conducts performance management and career development processes, and staffing and disciplinary actions Provides input and support to budget management process Qualifications A College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience in accounting and/or finance to perform financial analysis is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required Knowledge of accounting and finance normally is required to perform financial analysis and accounting duties Analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills are necessary to analyze financial data and prepare reports Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Office) is required to prepare financial reports Leadership and organizational skills are needed to prioritize assignments and provide feedback to staff Working Schedule: 5AM to 2PM
