JOB OVERVIEW Job Details: Summary: This individual will lead the web development team for our company. The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying WordPress websites and Clickfunnels websites, from layout to function and according to specifications. The chosen individual will stay apprised of current web design UI and UX elements, strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. Extended Information Our company has been outsourcing web design and hosting for clients. We’re looking to bring it in house now. Currently, we have 15 sites hosted through our outsourcing partners. Plans for growth in the next 12 months should put us at closer to 500 total sites hosted. We don’t currently have a hosting platform at all so the chosen candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining that hosting environment as well. We anticipate using a managed hosting solution so that the candidate need only track server health, uptime and usage stats to ensure the environment is running as needed. The candidate will also be responsible for scaling the environment as the business scales. The majority of the work is designing websites in 1 niche. We need the candidate to build out a master template for the site that can be replicated easily, adjusted to fit the client’s colors and location, then modify the content slightly to ensure it stays SEO Friendly. There will occasionally be the need to create funnels through CickFunnels so familiarity with that platform as well is necessary. Please ask any questions you have. Job Duties at a Minimum Include: Creation of wordpress based websites for clients in a timely manner Creation of ClickFunnels based websites for clients in a timely manner Creation of website templates (wordpress and Clickfunnels) to be used for clients and to aid in speed of development of websites for clients Perform extensive QA to ensure minimal changes after client delivery Execute changes from clients for existing sites Perform routine updates of all sites in the hosting environment Ensure all sites are running smoothly after updates, repair bugs and issues that arise from updates Build and maintain the hosting environment for sites and provide recommendations to ensure optimal performance for all sites Track and report website uptime on a weekly basis Track and report server uptime on a weekly basis Track and report website backup status and any necessary restorations performed Have a high level understanding of SEO and ensure sites being built are using optimal SEO practices Web Developer Skills and Qualifications: JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, WordPress, Divi Theme a plus but not required, Teamwork, Verbal Communication, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Hosting environments, SQL, Photoshop, Illustrator SKILL SUMMARY Web Development WordPress Development ClickFunnels Webmaster Managing Servers
